I wanted to combine some illustration and typography in this work, so I used the word repetition as the focus. Running with the theme repetition, I repeated the word repetition over and over, layering them on top of each other to create the dark shading, I then used the same 4 repeating elements to bulk the work out. I finished it up by adding a bit of color, and some photoshop spit and polish.

The boy has skills! Great use of Photoshop with Illustrator....or Illustrator with Photoshop...which ever it was.
